Calgary Engagement Photography
I don’t spend a lot of time shooting portraits in the City. Not that I’ve got anything against cities, I do like the culture and amenities that they provide. But, given the choice, I’ll take the fresh air, mountain tops, forests, and streams of the Rockies any day. However, I don’t want to deliver duplicate sets of images, with just different outfits, so, I like to shoot the engagement session in a setting that is completely different from where we will shoot their wedding portraits. When clients are booked for a Banff or Canmore Wedding, I like do me a little bit of “Calgary Engagement Photography”.
Since Alistair and Alisa flew in from Toronto, and only had a 36 hour window to visit their venue out in Canmore AND sneak in an engagement session, logistics required the shoot to be in Calgary. We hit up Stephen’s Avenue and the Crescent Heights bluff to create images for their engagement book. With a light drizzle of rain, we made the most of the weather, and used the puddles to create some beautiful pieces of art. I can’t wait for the
